This website is dedicated to La Toya Jackson's 6th studio album Bad Girl. The album, originally titled On My Own, was recorded in 1989 for Teldec Records, and contained 12 tracks. It was never released on Teldec, and the rights to the album were purchased by Sherman Records, who still own the album. Most editions of Bad Girl state that the tracks were licensed from Sherman Records.

Under the disturbing management of her late ex-husband Jack Gordon, the Bad Girl album was issued dozens of times to many small record labels. Today, there are only two La Toya Jackson albums in print; her 1980 debut, and the Bad Girl album, which has been issued under the names He's My Brother, Sexual Feeling, Playboy, and many other titles and covers.

The purpose of this website is to properly document the releases of this favorite among La Toya's fans - or Toy Soldiers as they like to call themselves - and to help track down every issue of the masterpiece.
